Why we built Discovery
Clients are already having the first conversation with AI.
People increasingly arrive at law firms after using general AI to explain their situation, organise their thoughts or ask what they should do next. Some even forward the conversation to their lawyer.
We built Sanctum Lex Discovery so the firm can own that first intelligent interaction. Instead of a client discussing a sensitive legal problem with a generic public assistant and then sending the transcript later, the firm gives them a purpose-built Discovery link that asks factual follow-ups inside the firm’s chosen intake process.
Not another intake form.
A static form asks the same questions regardless of the answer. Discovery asks one question, reads the response, decides what still needs clarifying, and asks the next question. When the factual conversation is developed enough for first review, it moves the client to the final PDF and document-upload stage.
And the AI does not stop when the client submits. Discovery turns the completed intake into an AI Consultation Prep for the lawyer: what to ask first, what facts and dates need verification, which documents are missing and which parts of the account remain ambiguous.
